TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Subject

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of wines, food products, and tasting services through the WineHoliday website. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.


2. Age Requirement

Under applicable law, the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under 18 years of age. By placing an order containing alcoholic beverages, the customer confirms that they are at least 18 years old and that the recipient of alcoholic products is at least 18 years old.

WineHoliday reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if age verification cannot be confirmed.


3. Products and Prices

All prices are in Euros and inclusive of VAT. WineHoliday reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price applied is the one shown at the time of order confirmation.

Product availability may vary according to season, stock and supplier availability. WineHoliday may replace unavailable products with equivalent or higher-value alternatives, where appropriate, while maintaining the overall quality and character of the selected box or experience. If a significant replacement is required, WineHoliday may notify the customer when possible.


4. Order and Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email from WineHoliday. We reserve the right to refuse orders in case of product unavailability or pricing errors.


5. Payment

Payments are accepted via the methods available at checkout. Payment must be completed before delivery.


6. Delivery Windows

Delivery windows are approximate. The customer selects a delivery window, not an exact arrival time.

Available delivery windows:

  • Morning Delivery: 10:00–11:30
  • Late Morning Delivery: 11:30–13:00

Estimated arrival times may vary due to route conditions, traffic, access issues, weather, or operational reasons. WineHoliday is not responsible for reasonable variations within or around the selected delivery window.

7. Active Delivery Areas

WineHoliday delivery is available only in active delivery areas and/or registered partner accommodations. Availability is checked during checkout.

WineHoliday may update, restrict or modify delivery areas according to operational requirements.


8. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including: full address, accommodation name, postcode, phone number, access instructions if needed.

WineHoliday is not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.


9. Right of Withdrawal

Under Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), the customer has the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, except for: perishable products or products with a short expiry date; sealed products opened after delivery for hygiene reasons; dated delivery services and private tastings booked for a specific date.

10. Warranties and Complaints

Products comply with Italian and European regulations. For any complaint, contact hello@wineholiday.it within 24 hours of delivery, attaching photos of the product and a description of the issue.


11. Liability

WineHoliday is not liable for delays due to force majeure. Maximum liability is limited to the value of the order.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Asti, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions apply.

13. Amendments

WineHoliday reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the website.
